The new law requires all food service employees who prepare, store or serve food at restaurants to earn a California Food Handler Card on or before July 1, 2011.
ServSafe Training Course Instructions
The ServSafe Training Course includes food safety information and an assessment, online tracking capability which allows the training status of employees assigned to the course to be viewed. The whole training course is approximately 60 to 90 minutes to finish. The online assessment has 40 questions without time limit to finish. If you need a Food Handle Card, you can purchase the Course and take the Assessment by selecting “Buy ServSafe Food Handler Products” under the Students section of . Select the state where you would like to purchase and choose the Online Course (you’ll need to enter your ServSafe.com User ID and Password at this time or create one).
If you took an Instructor led class and provided a valid email address on your answer sheet, you’ll receive an email notice when your results are available. Click the link in the email to view your results, complete the required information to create a ServSafe.com User ID and you can view your results.
